Evelinn Trouble — Jamais

Evelinn Trouble releases her first French song.

While artists like Sophie Hunger and Stephan Eicher have been singing in French for years, Evelinn Trouble's first song in the language came about by chance! The song "Jamais" was originally written for the award-winning indie experimental film "De Noche Los Gatos Son Pardos," which caused a sensation last autumn with its numerous nude scenes and surreal storyline. One week before the film premiere, it became evident that they would not obtain the rights to use the originally intended song for the crucial scene, a dramatic number by the legendary singer "Dalida." Consequently, they had to find a replacement, and Evelinn Trouble was asked to write something similar. So, during one long studio night, the song "Jamais" was born; Dalida meets Trouble, Chanson-Queen meets Rock-Diva. A fortunate coincidence.
