To Athena — Have I Lost My Magic?

With Have I Lost My Magic?, To Athena releases her third studio album in 2026 – a personal, courageous, and musically diverse work. Created in collaboration with producer Linus Gmünder, the album combines introspective lyrics with a warm, expansive sound aesthetic. Harp, strings, and full band arrangements shape the sound and will also accompany To Athena live on stage.

At its heart lies the search for a once-believed-lost inner magic. The songs speak candidly about overwhelm, vulnerability, and the longing for genuine connection. Themes such as interpersonal relationships, burnout, and abuse are addressed openly – yet always illuminated by a quiet, hopeful gaze toward what lies ahead. Have I Lost My Magic? invites listeners to look closer, to heal, and to rediscover their own inner light.

Musically, the album opens up new worlds: modern, distinctive, yet touched by a hint of nostalgia. Echoes of Queen, The Beatles, Stromae, and old fairy tales blend into a unique sonic language. To Athena’s signature style remains unmistakable – including her characteristic mix of English lyrics and dialect.

The singles “Weird Kid,” “Dänke,” “Collide,” and “Shut The Door” have already received significant acclaim both nationally and internationally. Particularly surprising was the strong response from Mexico and Turkey, which brought To Athena to five sold-out concerts in Mexico in February 2026.

The album release show will take place on May 31, 2026, at Kaufleuten Zurich, followed by an extensive release tour across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria starting in October 2026.
