Pina Palau — Something Casual

Something Casual is the fourth single from Pina Palau’s upcoming album You Better Get Used To It (out February 2026). It captures the moment when desire and denial collide.

“We all know the person who pretends that a love burning bright is just something casual,” says Pina. “I wanted to write about that dissonance — when your whole body knows it’s real, but the other person is afraid to commit.”

Built on dry, crunchy drums and layered acoustic guitars, the song grows with warmth and grit before closing in a Beatlesque coda, with background vocals swelling into something both nostalgic and defiant.

With Something Casual, Pina closes out the year on a raw, emotional note — and sets the stage for the release of her new album in February 2026.
