Elio Ricca — Miele

"Miele" is an energetic, hypnotic mixture of synth-pop and dreamy indie. A lush blend of retro synths and pulsating basslines. It’s Elio Ricca’s first song in Italian, his native language, and it describes the last dance of a couple before everything changes.

The track drips with nostalgia and heat, painting a cinematic backdrop where vintage dreams meet modern heartache. "Fiat Cinquecento dei sogni miei"—once a symbol of love, now a relic of what’s faded. The drums push relentlessly forward, but something sweet is missing.

It’s the absence of "Miele" which means "honey," that certain something missing in an ending relationship. "Ti voglio bene, ma capiscimi - quí ci manca il miele." A confession, a farewell.

For fans of Tame Impala, Calcutta, Annalisa, Giorgio Moroder, and the magnetic pull of retro-futuristic pop.
