Four years after releasing her first English-language folk project, the Lausanne-based artist unveils songs written and performed entirely in French for the first time, bringing a new sense of closeness and emotional depth to her songwriting.

Created alongside Robin Girod (Mama Rosin, Duck Duck Grey Duck), a key figure in the Swiss rock scene, La nuit brings together three original tracks and one remix, carried by striking melodies, raw arrangements and a subtle tension between softness and intensity. Moving through nocturnal moods, vulnerability and richly textured soundscapes, Billie Bird reveals her boldest artistic direction yet.
