Andrina Bollinger — Let me Sing

With her second single "Let me Sing", from the upcoming album "Island of Way Back" (slated for release in spring 2026), Andrina Bollinger reflects on her journey back to herself. She arrives at a realization that seems counterintuitive at first glance: that rationalizing your pain can actually mean holding onto it. Allowing yourself to feel it with the entirety of your being becomes the beginning of letting it go—the first step towards healing.

Taken from the album's second act, titled "Listening Inward," this song unfolds as a soothing pointillist sonic canvas, built upon a cyclical guitar arpeggio and punctuated with groovy drum hits and bass lines. The arrangement gradually builds into a swirling kaleidoscopic force that seems to lift the vocals higher with every turn.

"Even during moments of deep crisis, my voice is there to accompany me. Singing isn't just a job—it's who I am. What anchored me during this period of turmoil was a gentle practice of breathwork and vocal training. Reconnecting with my voice provided the stability that allowed me to transform my restless soul into something whole again. Hence, the chorus, 'Let me sing again,' is a plea, a declaration, and ultimately an affirmation of not only reclaiming my voice but also my sense of self.” — Andrina Bollinger

Echoing the theme of attuning to natural rhythms, "Let me Sing" emerged from an arpeggio that bassist Jules Martinet brought to the studio, sharing an Ableton session of a song idea. Bollinger then took some elements of that session and produced the song, featuring Arthur Hnatek on drums, Jules Martinet on bass, guitar and flugelhorn, and her own contributions on piano and vocals.
