Panda Lux — Therapie

With “Therapie”, Panda Lux release one of their most direct and personal songs to date. Between despair, sarcasm, and quiet hope, singer Silvan tells of a state where life falls apart – and every attempt to help feels too loud. “I don’t need therapy,” he sings – a line that deliberately provokes, precisely because it isn’t true. The song reflects a time of deep depression, when nothing worked anymore: no sleep, no words, no emotion. It captures the feeling of being overwhelmed – by oneself, by the diagnosis, by well-meant help from others. “I don’t need therapy” is not a rejection of support, but the voice of an inner resistance many can relate to.

“Therapie” questions the stigma around mental illness – the strict divide between “sick” and “healthy” that leaves little room for everything in between.

Musically, the song is a raw, unfiltered outburst – recorded live with 12-string guitars, bass, drums, and even a power drill. Honest, loud, and full of contradiction – “Therapie” is both a cry for help and a step towards self-acceptance.
