Change You is a love song to the inside – “because it takes courage to look inward and acknowledge my own part. Because it often appears easier (yet is impossible) to change someone else than to change myself. Because I free myself from powerlessness when I accept that I can only change myself. Slowly, it sinks in: my world becomes calmer when I love myself.”

At the same time, Change You is a love song to the outside – “because I set clear boundaries and return to you what was never mine in the first place: the responsibility for yourself. It’s a love song because I don’t try to change you. Because I stay true to myself. And because that clarity is the greatest gift we can give each other.”

Musically, Linda Wolf wraps this message in a warm, stripped-back sound somewhere between 90’s indie and timeless chamber pop: a muted, open piano, delicate organ, soft guitars, gentle drums, and tender strings in the chorus. Like a subtle anthem that brushes softly against the heart.
