IKAN HYU - genre bending rock duo

IKAN HYU’s explosive live shows have sent shockwaves through the European music scene. The way the duo transmits the energy of a 'whole band' with two people is as unique as the sound that emerges: glitchy, loud, beautiful, free, profound and unpredictable. The two front women each play up to three instruments at the same time - Hannah uses acoustic and electronic drum elements, a kaossilator and a synth bass, while Anisa uses a drum pad and a self-designed electric guitar/keyboard hybrid, which allows her to play guitar and bass at the same time. On top of that, they both sing alternately or together. Completed by artwork, merchandise, lighting elements and stage outfits, all DIY, the duo creates an entire universe.
