Gaspard Sommer — Toujours Ensemble
"Toujours Ensemble" is the second EP by Gaspard Sommer, who continues to place collaboration at the heart of his artistic approach. Although Gaspard remains the primary composer and producer, he surrounds himself with different voices on three of the four tracks. Lakna enriches the track "Mood For Love" with contemporary R&B tones. The rapper Chien Bleu lends his voice to "Kintsugi", bringing a blend of hip-hop and melancholic pop aesthetics. Mau adds her unique touch to "Melancholia", influenced by pop, R&B, and avant-garde chanson.
In line with his previous album "Les Couleurs Pastel" and the latest EP "Ensemble Toujours", this EP concludes a diptych imbued with Gaspard Sommer's signature gentle and profound aesthetic. The introspective lyrics blend with music that is both harmonious and powerful, marking the culmination of a captivating sonic journey.
