Ever since puberty Juri Schmidhauser have found comfort in GarageBand, a software to record music. Next to their project iuri they play in a number of Swiss bands. In 2021 they took part in Sophie Hunger's Songwriting Masterclass and in 2022 they released the Debut EP Grow Small, produced by Anna Aaron. This was released as a Split-LP with the band Lost in Lona. Their single New Smile was selected for the Shortlist of the m4music democlinic Awards in 2023. That same year, iuri opened for Odd Beholder and for Cori Nora on their Switzerland tour. The first single of the album Soon will be released in November 2024, followed by the album in May 2025.
